There are many ideas around when it comes to fat loss. However, not all of them are correct. On the contrary, there are many fat loss tips which are wrong to follow. If you follow those wrong conceptions, you may end up gaining weight or not succeeding in your fat loss program. Some of the misconceptions include:

  1. Because of eating too much, you are fat

That is not necessary true. There are a lot of people who only eat one or two meals a day with the small quantity of food and gaining weight. That seems to be impossible for some but a lot of people suffer overweight problem with this behavior. Why is that? Because we can not just count our food intake calories but we also have to include the metabolism rate of our body. We will need to consider how well our body burn fat. If it burn fat poorly, you will gain weight despite a meager meal a day.

  1. Being fat is genetic

It has been proven medically that people are not fat because one or both of their parents are fat. Genetic plays some role but not everything when it comes to being overweight. You can gain weight and being fat more because of your eating behavior and your metabolism pattern. When you see some kids are fat like their parents, it is because they live the same food and lifestyle as their parents do.

The studies show that genetics only play 35 per cent influence to overweight. The rest sixty five per cent goes to people’s daily lifestyle.

  1. Going on diet pills is the easiest solution to overweight

That is one of the most destructive fat loss tips that you can get. If you get medical fat loss pills, you have a high chance to get yo-yo effect. You will gain all your weight back and some extra plus if you follow this path. Your metabolism will drop dramatically and you will have a harder time to lose weight next time. Think carefully if you want to use medical diet pills. Besides, the side effects of those pills can be many. Unless your overweight problem is life threatening with other complications, you should not go for medical diet pills.

  1. Cardio exercise is for fat loss

Cardio exercise does not help you losing weight and fat that much. If you want the exercise that helps you burn fat effectively, you have to go to resistant weight training which will help you gain muscle and burn more calories. When you have more muscles, your body will burn fat better.

Anyone like fat loss tips. Unfortunately, not all of them are correct. So, you have to carefully consider those tips with your right judgment.
