What are the Myths about Fat Loss?

Do you know that more than 60 per cent of the average Americans are overweight and have health problems? The rate increases all over the world. I don’t have to emphasize this but we all know that obesity is now one of the major health problems of the world. You may also encounter this problem.

You may not have noticed when you started to be fat. Once you know, you are fat already. Now, you may have tried many ways to lose weight and found that you could not be successful on fat loss. This article will give you some myth on fat loss so that you understand how to lose fat more effectively.

Fat loss can be done effectively if you understand the body system and how the fat accumulates. But first, you will need to eliminate some of the myths about fat loss including:

1 Eating fruits helps you lose fat
It is true if you eat the fruits which are not sweet and not high in calories. Unfortunately, the fruits in modern age are normally made by commercial purpose. We have the fruits that have been modified for a long period of time so that they taste good and sell well. That means almost all of the fruits now are high in calories and can increase your body fat.

2 Skip dinner or breakfast will help you lose fat
When I was younger, I just skip some meals and find out that my body is in perfect shape and I did not have to worry about being overweight. However, as time goes by, I found that it is harder and harder to maintain my weight. I always thought that I didn’t have to worry about a few pounds overweight. If I just skip a few dinners, I will come back into shape. That was not true for me anymore. It is hard to accept but it is true. When you fast, your body will turn yourself into starvation mode. You will burn less calories and keep more fat. In short, if you do skip meals often, you will be fatter due to the body protection system.

Once that happens, it will be harder for you to lose fat since your metabolic system has been affected. You will notice that you are fatter even with less food consumption.

3 Salad is a perfect meal for fat loss
Well, clean salad is good. However, most of the salad dressings are high in fat and calories. The low-calorie salad dressings normally taste bad. If you can stand that and you are sure that the vegetables you used are clean, you can eat salad. It is a good meal but it is not an ultimate way to lose fat.

4 Diet Soda heps you on your diet plan

There is no evidence that the soda will help you losing weight. The diet drink normally uses some chemical to make it sweet instead of using sugar. Although it may be low in calorie, it may cause other unknown problems afterwards.

There are many more myths about fat loss. I will give you more on this site. So please keep coming back and you may want some more knowledge by subscribing to our newsletter and get the health book for free. You will not be disappointed with the content you will get from our mails.
