You will need 40 per cent of your diet to be protein, another 40 per cent to be carbohydrate and the last 20 per cent to be essential vitamins and minerals. You will also need some proportion of the right fats in this last part. It may sound simple but you will need to know what to eat in each category. Here are some of the tips for you to follow including:
1 Protein: If you want to eat meat, take chicken or fish. They are white meats and have do not have much toxins. You can also have protein from beans and vegetables. It is believed that soy protein is far better than protein from meats. If you can, you should add protein powder into your diet plan. Your body will get full benefits from the whole protein. In addition, you don’t have to be worried about the toxins that may come from hormone or other impurities in meats. Or you can have protein bars that have the same benefits but easier to carry around. You should consider replacing the morning dairies you have with the protein drinks or bars. They have a lot less calories. This will guarantee that you will lose some fat and have sufficient protein for your weight training.
2 Carbohydrate: You will still need enough calories for your daily activities. Take simple form of carbohydrate like potato or rice instead of bread. If you want to eat bread, take whole wheat bread. Avoid having dairy products as much as you can. Also, do not eat the usual fatty snacks or popcorns. If you can do this, you will not have to worry much on the calories you have from your carbohydrate taking.
3 Supplements: When you want to do the weight training, you can have many choices of supplements. The best one should be the multi-vitamins and minerals capsule. There are many brands in the market. You will need to select the one that matches you. Also, you will need fish oil with Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. They will aid your recovery process from the weight training. You can also add L-Glutamine onto your diet plan to make it more effective.
Weight lifting diet can be put onto your plan to make your training effective. Once you start to see the result, you will see that it is worth your effort. You will finally get the result you want if you keep on following your diet and exercise plan.
