Fast Way to Lose Fat: How to Lose Ten Pounds in a few Weeks

Fast way to lose fat is a dream for almost every fat people. They dream of quickly losing fat so that they can get back to do whatever they used to do. The sad news is that is not going to happen. 1 Body will take away your muscle mass. Muscle is where most of the energy burning happens. Having less muscle means less metabolism or fat burning. You will be fat easier if you do this.

2 Body will turn you into starvation mode. This means you will have very low metabolism and the body will store calorie intake in form of fat as much as it can.

If you want to lose fat fast without having these two affects, you should consume less calories than your daily calories used. It is estimated that to lose one or two pounds a week, you will have to eat less calories than what you use by 15-20 %.

There are ways to calculate the calories you take. You can look at the package of the food or look at the recipe of each menu and estimate the calories. In order to calculate the calories used per day, we can use Harris Benedict Equation including:

BMR: Basal Metabolic Rate: The calories we use for our normal activities for example for being awake, breathing, sleeping, heart beat etc.

For Men:  BMR = 66+(13.7 x weight in Kg)+(5 x height in cm)-(6.8 x age in year)

For Women:  BMR = 655+(9.6 x weight in Kg)+(1.8 x height in cm)-(4.7 x age in year)

To come up with the calories you use per day, you will have to multiply BMR by the factor depending on what type of activities you have:

Sedentary job: BMR x 1.2

Light activities: BMR x1.375

Medium activities: BMR x 1.55

Very active: BMR x 1.725

Extremely active: BMR x 1.9

Once you have got the calories you use per day, make sure that you consume calories 15-20 % less than that number. You will lose one to two pounds a week without disturbing your body protection metabolism. If you want to lose ten pounds, you will get the weight you want within the next 5-10 weeks.
